Iowa Empowerment Board would establish criteria for a family friendly business initiative to identify and publicly recognize separately those businesses who are family friendly.The definition of a family friendly business is one who pays attention to the needs of employees and/or customers through implementation of practices that make the workplace attractive, useful or helpful to families with children.
