| Guts Iowa’s Right to Work law by allowing unions to collect fees from non-members. This conflicts with Iowa's Right to Work law adopted in 1947 that states in part that it is illegal "as a condition of employment to require any person to pay dues, charges, fees, contributions, fines or assessments to any labor union". SF 413 was an amended version that applied to public sector unions only by amending Iowa's collective bargaining laws. Was passed by Senate and the House Labor Committee in 2007. | |
