Eliminates use of scheduled injuries and allows for additional workers’ compensation payments for an injury resulting in a reduction in the employee’s earning capacity. It will force injured workers to retain an attorney to try and seek additional compensation beyond the scheduled member injuries. Would add significant costs to the system, add additional backlog of cases, and cost workers additional money in attorney fees for simply a “chance” at extra benefits.
