A "consensus bill" sponsored by the Workers' Compensation Advisory Committee where all stakeholders are represented. Allows parties to mutually agree to keep future medical expenses open in settlement agreements and repeals sunset of second injury fund funding mechanism.
The bill is effective Effective July 1, 2008
