A signature piece of Governor Branstad's agenda, the Iowa Partnership for Economic Progress creates a new economic development authority with a goal to be more dynamic with private-sector talent and resources. The collaboration will involve an Economic Development Authority and the Iowa Innovation Corporation. The entities will have separate boards and authority but will collaborate to attract and retain jobs.
