Following disputed assessment of a cogeneration facility of electricity in a manufacturing facility in Clinton, HF 679 was passed and signed into law which would reduce the assessment of the facility by the same ratio to the machinery and equipment property that is exempt under section 437A.16A.

Effective immediately. **Retroactive to January 1, 2011.
