| Will allow for a stay of judgment until party has exhausted constitutional right of appeal of a workers compensation decision from the Workers Compensation Commissioner. Currently, following administrative appeal, Iowa district courts will grant money judgments while appeals to the district court are pending. Therefore, parties that ultimately win an appeal of a workers compensation judgment may pay substantial benefits without any means of recovery. |
