Manufacturing plays a critical role in the prosperity and growth of the state of Iowa, and much of that success is thanks to outstanding manufacturing leaders.
Elevate Advanced Manufacturing, a program of the Iowa Association of Business and Industry, will recognize five outstanding leaders in manufacturing at its Legends in Manufacturing Awards Dinner. The 2016 Legends event is an opportunity to recognize great leaders in Iowa manufacturing and showcase what manufacturing has meant to the state of Iowa.

Awards are given in five categories:
- An individual from a company with fewer than 100 employees
- An individual from a company with between 100-300 employees
- An individual from a company with more than 300 employees
- An individual greatly supporting manufacturing
- Posthumously to an individual who provided great leadership and contributions to the industry
