Employee Voter Registration Week 2017

ABI has resources and tips to help your company participate in Employee Voter Registration Week (EVRW), September 25-29. EVRW is a weeklong, nationwide effort to increase voter participation among private employees in the U.S. In 2016, one in five voters live in states that require photo IDs to vote, but don’t know it. EVRW is an effort to get private employees throughout the country registered to vote. During this week, companies and associations will join together in an effort to encourage voter registration among private sector employees. The initiative will not tell employees how to vote or who to vote for. Instead, it aims to serve as a resource to help employers educate their employees about the issues that are important to their industries and provide key deadlines, voter registration and polling location information.
