In August, the NLRB issued a final rule requiring all employers, subject to the National Labor Relations Act, to post a notice of employees&amp;rsquo; right to join a union. ABI&amp;rsquo;s affiliate organization, the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) filed a lawsuit against the NLRB, challenging the proposed rule. 36 Members of Congress, filed an amicus brief with the court supporting the contention the NLRB lacks the authority to issue such a rule. The oral arguments for the case will be held the morning of December 19 at the U.S. District Court in Washington, DC.
