LI Lunch & Learn: NewBoCo

Join Leadership Iowa alumni for an afternoon of innovation in Cedar Rapids on Friday, April 20!

• 11:45am - Optional Lunch at Need Pizza (207 2nd Ave SE, Cedar Rapids)
• 1:00pm - Meet at the Geonetric building in the New Bohemia District (415 12th Ave SE Cedar Rapids)
• 1:00-3:00pm - Explore & Learn: New Bohemia District of Cedar Rapids (NewBoCo)

David Tominsky, a member of the current LI Class and the Managing Director of the Iowa Startup Accelerator, will give attendees an inside look at the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Cedar Rapids. David will share information about the neighborhood that was once devastated by the 2008 flood, the Geonetric building's purpose and design, and the community that has developed around it. Attendees will tour the building and learn more about the work of the New Bohemian Innovation Collaborative (NewBoCo), the organization that runs the Iowa Startup Accelerator, Vault Coworking, Imagination Iowa, DeltaV Code School and much more.
