Through Leadership Iowa, I gained exposure to so many different aspects of our state ranging from agriculture to government to education to business. I walked away from this program a more informed Iowan, with a better understanding of issues that impact us at the local and state level and a greater appreciation for the various businesses that exist in our great state. This program opens up to you many tours, programs and introductions normally reserved for those in high authority, and you gain new lifelong friends while sharing in these experiences together.
