OSHA just announced an aggressive plan set to become effective on March 27th to address workplace safety in a recent press release. They are issuing more subpoenas for documents and testimony, and making more criminal referrals now than in recent memory. OSHA stated their goal is to save lives and target employers who “put profit over safety” and hold employers to greater accountability for safety and health failures.

This new guidance covers enforcement activity in the general industry, agriculture, maritime, and construction industries.

Phillip Bauknight, Partner at Fisher Phillips, presents a webinar with hr|simple to discuss the key points of this new guidance and to give employers helpful tips for maintaining good workplace safety practices as OSHA turns up the heat on inspections and citations.
