Employee Voter Registration Week is here! Make plans to join employers all across Iowa and the U.S. who are participating in this important initiative to encourage employee voter registration and civic engagement! This year, we have a unique opportunity to shape our state and nation's future. Make sure your employees are prepared to fulfill their civic duty this Nov. 8th by encouraging them to register to vote. Here are three ways to engage your employees during Employee Voter Registration Week:

  1. Post information in your break room or cafeteria. Remind your employees about the importance of registering to vote by offering voter registration information in a common place around your workplace. Click here to download this poster with Iowa specific voting information. Print this flier and post it to spread awareness about Employee Voter Registration Week.
  2. Email your employees about the importance of voting. Send your employees an email emphasizing the importance of their participation and remind them to register to vote. Click here for a sample email that you can send your employees. If you want this email sent to you so you can easily forward it to your employees, contact Emily Schettler, eschettler@iowaabi.org.
  3. Provide voter registration forms for your employees. Click here to download an Iowa Voter Registration Form. Print copies and make them available to your employees, then deliver them to your county auditor's office.
