From the Desk of the Manufacturing Institute and Creators Wanted

November 3, 2021

The Manufacturing Institute is committed to growing and supporting the manufacturing industry’s skilled workers for the advancement of modern manufacturing. As the 501(c)3 nonprofit workforce development and education partner of the National Association of Manufacturers, the MI is a trusted adviser to manufacturers, equipping them with resources necessary to solve the industry’s toughest challenges.

Right now, our industry faces a significant challenge – manufacturers across the U.S. have nearly one million open jobs to fill right now. That is why the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM), Manufacturing Institute (MI), Pella Corporation and Vermeer Corporation are bringing a three-day experience to Pella, IA to help excite and prepare local students to fill them.

We would love for you to join us at Creators Wanted Tour Live —the manufacturing industry’s largest effort to build the workforce of the future.

WHAT

Governor Reynolds, along with representatives from our sponsors and the NAM, will showcase how this new, immersive experience aims to inspire job seekers, students, parents and teachers with the possibilities of a rewarding career in modern manufacturing, while providing them with the resources to take the first step to becoming a future creator.
