2016 Presidential Watch: Faith & Freedom event attracts candidates

- Former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina will make a number of stops around Iowa this week, including the Clinton County Republican Spring Dinner in DeWitt on Thursday, April 23 and events in the Iowa City/Coralville area on Friday, April 24.
- On Friday, April 24, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker will have an event at the Cedar Rapids Marriott at 12:30 p.m. and headline a multi-county Northwest Iowa Republican fundraising event at 7:30 p.m. at Lifelong Learning & Recreation Center in Sheldon.
- Congressman David Young (IA-03) will host an event withWalker on Saturday, April 25, at 1:30 p.m. at The Machine Shed in Urbandale.
- The Iowa Faith & Freedom Coalition 15th Annual Spring Kick-off on Saturday, April 25 will feature several potential presidential candidates, including U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Florida), Fiorina, U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, Louisiana Gov.Bobby Jindal, U.S. Sen. Rand Paul (R-Kentucky), former Texas Gov. Rick Perry, U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Florida), former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum (R-Penn.), and Walker. The event will take place from 4-9 p.m. at Point of Grace Church in Waukee. - Graham will visit the Story County Freedom Run in Nevada on Saturday, April 25.
- Paul will make a few stops around the state including events at the Vinton American Legion and at Grinnell College on Saturday, April 25.
- Dr. Ben Carson will have an events in West Des Moines, Cedar Rapids and Davenport from May 5-6.
