BIPAC announces new CEO

June 25, 2015

The Business and Industry Political Action Committee (BIPAC) announced recently that former U.S. Congressman Jim Gerlach will take over as the organization’s new CEO. Gerlach represented the Sixth District of Pennsylvania from 2003 to 2015 and most recently served on the House Ways and Means Committee. Prior to his service in the U.S. House of Representatives, Gerlach served in both the Pennsylvania House and Senate, and worked as an attorney.

Gerlach takes over this role from retired BIPAC CEO Greg Casey, who announced his retirement in December 2014. BIPAC provides non-partisan voter education and issue information for employers and associations throughout the country. BIPAC and ABI have worked together for more than a decade to educate individuals about the importance of voting. Members of ABI who attend the Washington, D.C. trip this fall will have the opportunity to meet Mr. Gerlach and hear about BIPAC’s initiatives for 2016.
