Branstad signs biochemical tax credit bill

Gov. Terry Branstad on Wednesday signed Senate File 2300, an administration priority supported by ABI. The legislation creates a new renewable biochemical tax credit program. For a full summary of the legislation, read the article from last week here.
“This legislation, the first of its kind in the nation, will help build Iowa’s renewable chemicals industry by using biomass as feedstocks for the production of building block chemicals,” Branstad said in a press release.
