Committee reviews funding formula for K-12 education

The School Finance Formula Review Committee met Monday to review the mechanism by which the state determines funding for each school. This bipartisan committee, which meets every five years, heard presentations from numerous state agencies and third party education groups. Topics of discussion included funding for school transportation and the correlation between school funding and student outcomes.
