Community colleges make case for funding

On Tuesday, Iowa Central Community College President Dan Kinney and Northeast Iowa Community College President Liang Chee Wee presented to a joint meeting of the Education Appropriations Subcommittee. The clear theme of their presentation was the critical need to fund programs that allow Iowans to gain the skills our economy needs. They also described the shortage of skilled workers in Iowa, and mentioned ABI by name as a strong partner in the solution to this issue.
