Budget Director Roederer Retiring at the End of January

January 14, 2021

On Thursday, Iowa Department of Management (DOM) Director Dave Roederer announced he will retire from his post effective at the end of this month. Budget Director Roederer has an esteemed career in public service, with 38 years of state government experience. He was appointed to lead the DOM in 2011 by then-Gov. Branstad. He’s held senior positions in numerous state government agencies. Roederer has an instrumental role in formulating the state’s budget numbers, as he served as the governor appointee to the revenue estimating conference. He volunteered his time and spoke to ABI’s public policy committees. The State of Iowa is a better place because of his service. ABI wishes him a happy and healthy retirement.
