Federal Spotlight: ABI joins call for expanded trade opportunities

ABI issued a press release Tuesday supporting federal efforts to expand trade and encourage exports. Iowa’s economy is reliant on exports. Trade legislation currently under consideration is key to advancing Iowa’s manufacturing economy and keeping jobs in Iowa. ABI also signed a letter sent by the National Association of Manufacturers to several key legislators, and members of Gov. Branstad’s administration sent a letter to Iowa’s congressional delegation to consider their support expanded trade opportunities.
