Federal Spotlight: Export-Import Bank reauthorization takes step forward

The U.S. Senate passed an amendment to the transportation bill on Monday that would reauthorize the Export-Import Bank. Thank you to Iowa’s U.S. Sens. Chuck Grassley and Joni Ernst for supporting the amendment. ABI and its members have been advocating for long term reauthorization of the bank. The language must be considered by the U.S. House and your help is still needed. Make sure you talk to your Congressman during the August recess and tell him to support reauthorization of Ex-Im.
