August 27, 2015

The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) and the U.S. Chamber have both filed comments expressing opposition to forthcoming labor regulations that would require federal contractors to disclose labor law violations when procuring certain contracts.

NAM, the U.S. Chamber and other opponents say the regulation would “blacklist” some companies. NAM comments can be read here. The U.S. Chamber also filed comments on the rule and issued a release criticizing the rule and explained it would increase burden on employers and ultimately raise the cost of federal contracts.
