Governor Names New Chief of Staff

Also on Tuesday, Gov. Reynolds announced her new chief of staff. Sara Craig Gongol will replace Ryan Koopmans effective this Saturday. Sara was the chief consultant to Gov. Reynolds on her campaign and has long been involved in Republican politics. Read the full news release about Ms. Craig Gongol. Ryan Koopmans, formerly a partner with ABI member law firm Nyemaster, will leave state government to return to the private sector. In addition to the changes announced in the governor’s formal offices, several agency directors have announced their intentions to step down after the first of the year.
