Governor Reynolds Signs Broadband Legislation

On Wednesday, Governor Reynolds signed HF 848, public policy which will ultimately facilitate the proliferation of high-speed broadband across the state. The bill passed the Legislature unanimously and will make Iowa a premier state when it comes to technology infrastructure. The Legislature also approved HF 867, a budget bill that includes a $100 million appropriation into the broadband grant program. The policy and funding were a key priority for ABI this year.
