Grassley to receive manufacturing excellence award

U.S. Sen. Charles Grassley will be back in Iowa next week to receive an award from the National Association of Manufacturers. Grassley will accept the award at Sukup Mfg. in Sheffield. Grassley has been a long-time supporter of manufacturers and even worked in a manufacturing facility before beginning his service in the Iowa Legislature and U.S. Senate. Grassley is chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee and many issues affecting companies’ intellectual property rights and protections would be heard before his committee.
