Iowa Business Day on the Hill raises awareness of business issues

Thank you to everyone who helped to make Iowa Business Day on the Hill a success. Members of ABI and NFIB joined forces to show support for Iowa businesses at the Statehouse on Tuesday. Surrounded by state leaders, Gov. Terry Branstad signed a proclamation designating March 10, 2015 as Iowa Business Day.
Members had the opportunity to hear from Senate Republican Leader Bill Dix (R-Shell Rock) and speak to lawmakers from both chambers.
This event was a great opportunity to inform legislators of how their decisions directly impact Iowa businesses. But as Sen. Dix reminded attendees, it is important to keep the communication flowing. Our elected officials need to hear from members about the challenges negative legislation could create for your businesses.
