Iowa Legislature convenes Monday; ABI event is Wednesday

The Iowa Legislature gavels in Monday at 10 a.m. to begin the 86th General Assembly. The first week is mostly ceremonial, but includes important speeches from legislative leaders, Gov. Branstad and the Chief Justice of the Iowa Supreme Court.
Of course, one must-attend event next week is ABI's Legislative Briefing and Reception. There is still time to register so click here to ensure you have a seat at the briefing! More than 20 new faces will join the Legislature next week so make sure you take the opportunity to meet them Wednesday!
