Iowa Senate introduces E-Verify

The Iowa Senate on Tuesday introduced SF 172, which requires Iowa employers who have more than 25 employees to participate in the federal E-Verify process. ABI was asked for feedback on this legislation and sent information to the Senate Employment and Workforce Committee. A subcommittee is expected to be scheduled soon.
