Presidential candidate Santorum visits Jackson Manufacturing

July 16, 2015

2016 Republican Presidential Candidate Rick Santorum visited ABI member Jackson Manufacturing in Maquoketa to tour the facility and discuss issues facing manufacturers. During the event, Santorum emphasized boosting manufacturing as a primary priority. Speaking to the crowd of manufacturing workers and members of the Jackson County Economic Alliance he said, “We can be the number one manufacturer in the world.”

With the 2016 election quickly approaching, it is important for manufactures and Iowa businesses to make their voices heard on issues facing business, industry and jobs in Iowa. ABI is working with the presidential campaigns to get candidates into member facilities. This is an opportunity to share your ideas and concerns and allow candidates a chance to see first-hand the work of ABI members and the contributions they bring to the economy. If you or your company would be interested in hosting a tour, please contact one of our public policy team members. If you are planning an event of your own please let us know and we can provide information and resources to share with candidates.
