Revenue rules final, environmental rules noticed

November 17, 2016

Members of the Administrative Rules Review Committee met Monday to hear from state agencies on rules ranging from the sales and use tax exemption for manufacturers to a copper biotic ligand model for environmental purposes. A representative from the Department of Revenue updated committee members about changes made to the sales and use tax rule since the rule was initially noticed.

There was no objection and the rule is now considered final. You can reference the rule chapter here. Next month the Rules Review Committee will consider a regulatory certainty rule proposed by the Department of Natural Resources. The proposed rule can be found in its entirety here. A public hearing will be held on Dec. 12.
