Saturday Deadline for Absentee Ballot Requests

October 22, 2020

Early voting in Iowa started more than two weeks ago, and more than 800,000 Iowans have already requested absentee ballots for the Nov. 3 election. If you are planning to vote absentee, but have not yet requested a ballot, the request must be received by the county auditor Saturday. If you have not yet mailed your request, it is best to drop it by the county auditor’s office. Remember, if you can’t make it to the polls on Election Day, you can still vote early in-person at the county auditor’s office. For more information on absentee voting, click here.
